On Friday 13 March, Cauldwell ward councillors, Cllr Abu Sultan and Cllr Fouzia Zamir met up with a representative from BPHA to do a walkabout and discuss the possibility of
converting old garages into new family dwellings.
They were joined by Cllr Sue Oliver (a former councillor for Cauldwell, now Kempston North).
They were supportive of BPHA's draft proposals to convert the derelict old garage spaces into new family dwellings but they emphasised the need to keep as much green space as possible. The proposal is in its early stages and they will work with BPHA to deliver the best outcome for the residents of the area.
"Labour councillors working for you all year round and not just at election time."
