Warm Homes for All – Labour’s plan to reduce energy bills, create jobs and tackle climate emergency

Bedford Labour

Mohammad Yasin said:

"I am proud of Labour's "Warm Homes For All" policy announcement. My team and I have been out sharing the announcement on the doorstep. Residents have welcomed our plans as part of our effort to tackle the climate emergency, save residents money on bills and keep residents warm during the winter.

According to National Energy Action, last year around 10,000 winter deaths were caused by ill health linked to cold homes. This is unacceptable and we need to take urgent action to address this injustice.

Labour will create 450,000 jobs by installing energy saving measures such as loft insulation and double glazing, renewable and low carbon technologies in almost all of the UK’s 27 million homes.

This is just a small part of our green industrial revolution to fight against the climate emergency."
