We know that Sure Start works. These centres are a proud Labour achievement that provide advice and services for new parents, all while saving the NHS millions of pounds. Yet under this Tory Government they have been cut and closed down time and time again. That ends now.
Labour will open 1000 Sure Start centres. We will also boost free childcare to 30 hours a week for all children aged 2 to 4. We must give children the best start in life and we know that Sure Start and childcare are important in early years development. A vote for Labour is vote to support future generations.
