Councillors Caroline White and Mohammed Nawaz organised a Community Litter Pick in their ward of Kempston Central & East on Saturday morning, 11 May 2024.
Caroline and Nawaz said: "We are grateful to other Kempston councillors, Cllr James Valentine, Cllr Ali Akbor, Cllr Ross Purves and local residents who joined us today."
They continued: "It was a perfect day for the litterpick with glorious sunshine and 23C temperature."
"We collected lots of litter but it's such a shame that a few people don't take pride in their community drop it in the first place."
